Well I/We have a problem!! I have just replaced the 3rd (YES three times) IOT unit at $95.00 each. Not covered by warranty. Every April after winter storage in a heated garage, stored per Freedare instructions (battery left in the bike) and charge kept around 80% the: ERROR CODE: 26 IOT Communication Fault is in the display and the bike s dead. I need to know what is going on with the E Bike as this is not an exceptable problem spring I want to use the bike for the sesason. A number of calls to tec support, always very responsive, with the same set of "Try this" "Try this again" and finally you need another $95.00 IOT unit. AND, due to the construction of the bike, the IOT unit needs bike disassembly to install. Not a small deal. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO REMOVE THIS PROBLEM SPRING !!!!!

I am from Ontario Canada and had the I.O.T. controller fail 6 months before warranty on my Saiga expired. Unfortunately due to a long winter storage of my bike & life getting in the way, I forgot to enquire about the failed part . I contacted Freedaire via their service chat & was able to secure the part I needed at my expense and shipped to Canada from the US in about 2 weeks time . No more Canadian distributor for the bikes & parts. I was happy that they were still available to purchase at least. Without this part my bike would be nothing more the an 80 lb lawn ornament to me.

Needed a special part for my axle. Customer service was great. Had to pay shipping but was worth it. Everything running great now.

The Freedare team listened to my technical issue and provided the diagnostic solution after i shared photos. The communication and following shipping were quick and made the process of bringing my bike to normal running status easier to deal with. Also, much appreciation to the shipping team that didn't let my dyslexic moment ruin my ability to get my product in a timely manner.

The bike is working fine, had to take it to a bike shop to fix it, I didn’t have the right tool.

Fast and easy support for a part that went out on one of our bikes. All email support but it was not an issue. Sent pics back and forth which made it easier.

The after-sales service and communication are great, but the reliability of their products leaves a little to be desired. So there should be a little more compensation for their customers who are very loyal to them and who have been testing their new product from the very beginning.

After 5 ebikes and the run around you get dealing with support, you guys are a cut above the rest. Love my Eden@65.

Someone took the front wheel off my husband’s bike and my bike to steel one of them (my husband’s frame and rear tire and my front tire). When we got the bike back (thanks to the gps) we went to put the front tire back on my bike and found that the axle nut and tool that comes with the bike were missing. I reached out to FREEDARE and they sent me a new nut and tool set.

The reason not getting a 5 star review was the trouble of putting the amount of purchase It takes me awhile to understand the system works Everything is good , delivery on time and working perfectly on my bike Thanks

Ounce we correctly diagnosed the problem everything went well ! Love my bike, probably should have a little better way to protect small wire coming off torque sensor. Fine wire broke right at the sensor!

Update about the situation of our two Saiga which was broken, due to a major problem with the TORQUE SENSOR which is only covered by the 1 year warranty compared to the rest of the Ebike. We ordered it on July 31st at a cost of CA$170.33 shipping included for two torque sensors and we received them on August 10th. Our local and super competent dealer Mike's Bike Shop gave us an appointment on July 13th to repair the two Saiga at a cost of CA$45.00 + taxes each and at the end of the day both were inspected, test driven and ready to go. Since then they are functional and work very well, but it will still have cost us $273.83 for a part that Freedare unfortunately does not offer reliability.

Since the torque sensor was not the problem, Im wondering what the next steps should be? I have followed the trouble shooting guide without success on clearing the IOT communication fault error 26 that comes up on the panel as soon as I power up the bike. I have no throttle response. Please advise. Ted 416-904-9648

Once contacted Freedare customer support is very good, with really good communication. However, I shouldn't have to face the issues I have faced in the first place....either with the request for additional keys, where I was sent keys that did not work, or a failed torque sensor that needed to be replaced after less than a year's use.
