Was nice until the front axle nut fell off
I had my FREEDARE Saiga shipped to a friend’s house on Vancouver Island BC Canada. Because I live on a small off grid island that most shipping companies don’t deliver to. FedEx delivery was within a week and delivered when they said they would. My friend and I had fun assembling the bike which was very easy. There’s other people on the Island that own E-bikes but I personally think that mine is the most impressive. (More power & longer range). I’m seriously considering buying another one for my girlfriend, probably the Eden. The price of gas on this Island is ridiculous, so anything you can do to not have to drive a gas vehicle is preferred. I’m loving my new “Solar Powered “ Freedare Saiga. Thanks for shipping to Canada.🍁 P S ; I’m in my 60s and I wasn’t enjoying riding my mountain bike much anymore, especially the gravel roads and hills. But now I’m back enjoying biking again.

I after some research on e-bikes, I decided to purchase my Freedare bikes (both the Saiga and Eden) while the company had a 2-for one discount going on. Things I liked prior to the purchase was the range, the GPS/anti-theft system, and the Freedare app (which has so many features added to it). My first ride of 12 miles on my Saiga, I noticed some small adjustments I needed, such as a softer saddle, a shock absorbing seat post, and a better phone holder. On subsequent rides of at least 20 to 35 miles I noticed some subtle power issues, which most likely was the result of not fully charging the bike. But at 100% the bike would reach speeds about 30 to 31 mph, when the battery reached 75 to 40% the speed reduces to about 24 to 25 mph (which is no big deal) but it may be to some folks. I also would suggest that Freedare would incorporate an adjustable handle bar system and maybe come out with a version that has dual shock system for the front and back of the bike. Overall I love this bike! If and when this company comes out with those upgrades (adjustable handle bar and dual shock system) I'm not sure if there will be any other E-bike to consider. The height and feel of it is invigorating and nostalgic to this 50 year old guy. I can get my exercise in on this at times (because it is a heavy bike) but also get the power from the bike to navigate the terrains I ride and pull some of the toughest hills. My wife has the Eden and the biggest negative for her is the height of the bike. I would like to think that at some point Freedare would build a smaller 20 to 24 inch ebike for riders 5'2" to 4'10". Kudos to the Freedare team on the innovative work for this bike and I will be on the lookout for any future e-bikes the produce.
Bike was delivered a day ahead of expected date, packaging unmarked. Found the fenders and rear carrier already installed ! Full assembly took 30 minutes start to finish, tools provided, no problem. Bit of getting used to riding something this size...big bike. All adjustable functions were set correctly, nothing else required. A few rides in and the bike is actually perfect for what I am looking for. Stoked with the service, price and product. Great Job ! Am
Assembly was fairly easy. Customer service is great. I was missing a piece of hardware to install the fenders. I received the missing piece within a week.

I have to say after almost 800 miles in the last 6 months this bike has been very solid overall. I am a daily rider. Other than a minor hiccup that was quickly resolved by customer service the experience has been great. The bike rides very well overall. I just had it in the shop for some accessory installation and the mechanic really liked it. He said for the price this is a great bike with several name brand components. Also, Customer Service has been very responsive through email. Overall I'm very pleased with my decision to purchase this brand. Thanks Freedare!
Rode the saiga farther and saw more than I expected!
Delivery was super fast, easy to assemble, great customer service. Bought two saiga's and my wife and I love them. Wish we had bought them months ago. Everything about the bike is high quality. The battery life is long. I honestly couldn't be happier with these bikes.

When I retired a few months ago, I bought a Saiga electric bike. I love this bike and I go out every morning and ride 25 to 30 miles. I highly recommend this bike, it is quiet and rides well in the hills.

Ordered on Sunday and arrived on Wednesday. Delivery time excellent. No problems with the bike, despite everyone saying the bike is huge, you don't realize how big it is until you see it in person. Acceleration takes getting used to. I didn't expect the response to be so fast.

This is the best bike I've bought in a long time. It's a great bike. Has tons of power. Very fun. Big wheels can handle gravel and uneven surfaces. After riding a regular mountain bike it's a little heavy and hard to get used to. But this bike can conquer hills. And no matter what your level of pedal assist, you can still get a workout. Choose your level of effort. I prefer the torque sensor to the pedaling sensor. It makes it feel more like riding a bike. It's a blast to ride this bike.
The folks at freedare made a point of doing something about this sale. The bike is almost perfect with only a little problem with the foot braces. The way it rides and handles seems to make up for it.
